Yuzu is one of citrus fruits, usually used as spice or herb in Japan. We recommend this wine as desert wine or base of some cocktail. Limited production of 6,000 bottles per year.
The wine is clear yellow in color with a fresh and fruity aroma. Well balanced between the sweetness and slight bitterness from fresh Yuzu peel.
Pale, almost colorless in the glass, this wine smells of golden apples and wet stones. In the mouth the wine has a moderate sweetness, with flavors of lemon and apple, and a hint of something woody, like a wet deck in the rain. A finish of grapes.
50% Pinot Gris, 45% Welsh Riesling, 5% Muscat Ottonel
Intense aromas of roses, rose oil and water, refreshing citrus aromas, strawberries and cherry character, light muscat, very subtle tannins give the wine character.
Attractive bouquet of grapefruit zest, over white blossom and fine herb spice. The palate displays juicy characters of fresh tropical fruit supported by elegant balance and a lingering aftertaste of ripe yellow peach.
