This wine is pale yellow in colour with green reflections. On the nose, there are intense aromas of peach and citrus. The freshness and minerality on the mid-palate is superb, ably supported by a remarkable acidity which frames the juicy fruit on the crisp finish.
This single vineyard Albariño comes from three plots that together add up to one hectare. This area faces the ocean, which as the crow flies is about 15 kilometers away. This is a dense Albariño, with succulent flavors of white fruits and flowers, with a pleasant, creamy texture and deep flavors. If you want experience the potential of the Albariño from Uruguay, this wine offers an excellent choice.
An aroma of good complexity, with floral notes, tropical fruit, white fruits and earthy, slightly shrubby tones. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and reveals a lively and well-integrated acidity, alongside floral notes and touches of white fruit. It has an extremely elegant finish.
Many producers consider Les Clos the best of the grand cru vineyards in Chablis. Judging by this wine, it would be hard to argue the point. This tightly wound powerhouse exudes a smoky richness without sacrificing elegance
"Light yellow color, very green palate, lime, gooseberry, lots of minerality, sea salt, nice long finish"
Chablis Grand Cru, France
The legendary Alain Brumont blends Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng, aged in 600 liter barrels to lighten the impact of the wood on the wine, which makes for velvety texture in this fruit forward wine with a wonderfully floral nose.
Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, France
The white Château Montus Pacherenc Sec is made from 85% Petit Courbu and 15% Petit Manseng and barrel fermented in demi-muids. This is a stunning wine with great minerality akin to a Grand Cru White Burgundy.
Pale straw colour. Aromatic charm aplenty with subtle notes of ripe peach, honey roasted nuts and lemon blossom. Lithe and long across the palate. Mid palate fruit richness is tempered by fine acidity and a lovely textural seam. Finishes dry and delicious.
Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
A blend of 26% Roussanne, 25% Chardonnay, 19% Grenache Blanc, 17% Chenin Blanc and 13% Viognier, this is a complex and layered wine. A soft flinty character lies atop a rich bouquet of yellow apple, ripe green melon, tangerine and honeycomb. The medium-weight palate offers both weight and refinement, with a smooth texture and ripe fruit flavors that are cut by ample acidity and lingering sweet-spice accents.
Stellenbosch, South Africa
50% Roussanne, 27% Chenin Blanc, 12% Viognier and 11% Chardonnay
There is an ample amount of mineral reduction present on the citrusy and notably floral nose that also displays an abundance of Chablis character that continues onto the concentrated, powerful, intense and highly energetic palate impression while delivering stunningly good depth and length. As much as I like the Preuses and Blanchots, there is just another dimension present here and this should be remarkable once it achieves its full maturity. Bravo. Allen Meadows
Chablis, Burgundy, France
The 2014 Viré-Clessé Cuvée E. J. Thevenet is showing very well, unwinding in the glass with aromas of green orchard fruit, almond paste and honeycomb that are still quite youthfully reserved. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, lively and elegantly textural, with a satiny attack, attractive purity and a suppler, more inviting profile than the blocky, super concentrated 2015 rendition, but it's also showing more reserve than the tender, inviting 2013. Though it can be enjoyed now, to my palate, the real excitement will come with a decade in the cellar, so patient readers should gravitate toward this bottling. WA
Maconnais, Burgundy, France
Les Romans is a fine Sancerre, very typical and mineral. The nose is quite lively, with aromas of pear and chalky notes. The palate is both powerful and fine, succulent with rich and ripe fruit flavours and a lemony finish. This wine will go well with creamy dishes, curries for example and seafood.

Jonathan’s wines are organically certified and he employs many biodynamic principles in an effort to ensure that his wine gives a true representation of the magical terroirs of Pouilly-Fumé. Consistently voted among the best winemakers in France, he is being touted as the successor to French winemaking superstar Didier Dagueneau – high praise indeed!
The ‘Prelude’ is made with grapes from younger vines, showcasing a more fruit-forward and easy drinking style, while still maintaining the mineral undertones for which Jonathan is so well known.

Situated in the small picturesque village of Imerovigli, the Kavalieros vineyard overlooks the dramatic Santorini caldera from one of the highest altitudes on the island. The first winery to produce a single vineyard Assyrtiko, Sigalas ages this wine in tank intensely stirring the lees over an impressively long 18-month period. The result is a concentrated, complex and powerful Assyrtiko with a unique lingering persistency on the finish.
Almost golden yellow color. Very rich on the nose, with lovely aromas of flowers and honey. On the palate this is oily, ultra-massive, super-fruity and extremely opulent, with complex flavors of honey, flowers, pineapple, peach and apricot. The flavors build on the middle and the wine concludes with impressive length. This is quintessential Viognier!

The Fiano di Avellino di Feudi di San Gregorio is produced only with Fiano grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 4 months in steel on its lees before being bottled.
The Fiano di Avellino di Feudi di San Gregorio has a strong straw yellow color, with greenish reflections. The nose opens with hints of chamomile, yellow peach and candied orange. In the mouth it is soft, fresh and mineral.

The wine is made from Koshu, an indigenous grape variety in Japan. It is also the only vitis vinifera grape variety originated from Asia. Koshu is semi-aromatic. Its wine at its best has a delicate and subtle flavour profile, is low in alcohol and has a gentle attack on the palate; is transparent and fresh with vibrant acidity.
John Duval might be best known for his work with red grapes, but his Rhone-inspired white blend is no slouch. It’s lighter and fresher, finer than expected, but still delivers elements of each variety in the mesh. There’s a slickness to texture, spice nuance and a ripe fresh stone fruit profile in the mix. Wonderful balance too.

Delicate citrus and stony nose. Unexpected density on the palate and that richness from the lees but with mineral tension on the finish. Fresh and persistence but conservative in flavour.
Kumeu, New Zealand
Rich with Sicilian puff pastry and cannoli crust, the 2018 Sicilia Menfi Chardonnay is an elaborate and full-bodied expression of this important white grape. The wine drives home a lasting impression of volume and opulence thanks to stone fruit, vanilla cream and baked bread. That touch of acidity is just enough to keep the wine light and jazzy in terms of mouthfeel. I also get that sweetness from Sicilian blood orange juice when it's freshly squeezed.
"Very intense and vividly fresh aromas of passion fruit and lime with a little edge of mineral. The palate has a very lithe, juicy and succulent feel with bright passion-fruit, green-peach and mango flavors. Focused, dry and fresh. From biodynamically grown grapes."

Medium green-yellow with silver highlights. Vineyard peach, grapefruit zest and subtle carambola over a background of blossom honey and soft herbal spice. Juicy acid and salty minerals tightly frame the multifaceted, firm body. The complex finish features velvety papaya fruit. Tremendous potential for further development and aging.
Tasting Notes: Ripe and creamy, but with a touch of horseradish that really gives a kick, this is a very distinctive wine. Long, lively finish, in spite of he richness.
