E. Guigal, Cote Rotie Chateau d'Ampuis 2009

Very ripe and intense dark fruit driven nose, blackberries, rare bacon fat and dark spices. Exceptional concentration, unctuous/almost chewy, ripe sweet black fruit driven palate impression, good acidity and nicely integrated tannins. Still very primary but very promising. If you like the opulent primary fruit, this is perfectly enjoyable.
